Skin Salvy Review and Giveaway - 12 WINNERS!

EXTENDED UNTIL SEPT. 11

I love summer! I love taking Sophie to the pool, wearing flip-flops, and playing outdoors all day long.  My skin, however, does not love it as much...

My heels get so rough in the summer wearing flip-flops.  I have tried all kinds of lotions and other "foot" products. They are too greasy, too expensive, stink, or just don't do the job.  Playing outdoors in the sun requires a good lip balm.  Again, most on the market are not reliable and must be reapplied over and over and over.  Going to the pool has been a daily adventure this summer. Sophie is old enough to swim with her floaties and go down the slide by herself this year.  She loves seeing her friends! I love chatting with other moms while cooling off.  After a long day, it is nice to rub lotion or spray some nice scents on my skin.

Skin Salvy is the PERFECT solution to dry skin!

Skin Salvy is a family owned business in MN.  In 2007, Lisa and Dave started the successful business.  Dave invented a dry skin formula after years of using a petroleum-based lotion to help with his problem.  Eventually, the lotion quit working and everything on the market was useless.  So Lisa and Dave developed a formula that worked! Skin Salvy was born...

About the products
No petrolatum • No nut oils • No paraben No animal testing • No synthetic fragrances

Skin Salvy for dry skin: This unique product has a consistency unlike anything else found on the market. It's heavier than a cream or lotion but not greasy the way salves can be. A very thin layer is all you need to start soothing dry skin including cuticles, feet and heels too! Available in 2.2 oz twist top container or 1/2 oz travel size tin. Choose lavender or natural scent. Ingredients: organic jojoba, beeswax, lavender essential oil (optional.)

Lip Balm: A non-sticky formula that soothes dry lips. You won't find yourself reapplying this lip balm every hour during the dry winter months. Available with spearmint essential oil or unflavored. Ingredients: organic jojoba, beeswax, spearmint essential oil (optional.)

Organic Jojoba: Superior conditioner, contains natural forms of vitamin E, absorbs readily into the skin. The 4 oz. bottle has a flip top cap for better control of dispensing jojoba. The 1/4 oz. with screw top cap is perfect for travel! Apply to skin, scalp, cuticles, hair and use during massage. Gently remove eye make-up and nourish the skin. Does not clog pores. Not intended for internal use.

My Review:
I received samples of each of the products above.  I immediately applied the lip balm and instantly felt the difference.  This wasn't that greasy-sticky balm that I had previously tried.  I used it at the pool and didn't have to worry about reapplying after a few minutes. I have found the LAST balm I will ever use!  I like the natural scent but the spearmint is my favorite.  It has that tingle!  After the pool, applied some of the skin salvy to my feet. I admit, my feet a very cracked and I doubted this would work.  I was wrong! I like the feel of the salve.  It isn't greasy so I can actually get up and walk after applying it.  It isn't like a lotion, much thicker.  I can't believe what a small amount can do.  I can tell a difference in my feet just from using it a month regularly.  Again, the natural scent was okay but the lavender is outstanding! The scent is great and the feel is the best.  After a very rough day, I decided to try the Organic Jojoba.  I have never used this so I was excited to try it.  I applied a small amount to my hands and feet.  It is a wonderful conditioner! It softened my hands and feet.  I like that these products are natural and effective.  The Jojoba is non-allergenic so I don't have to worry about breakouts - another plus!

Final Say:
These natural-made products are truly one-of-a-kind and work!

  6. I'm a gfc friend and I'd like to try the spearmint lip balm, because, after moving from super humid Houston to super dry Denver where we have winters, I am positively addicted to lip balms. Besides, I love the flavor of spearmint.
