Bella and Harry Review and Giveaway

EXTENDED UNTIL SEPTEMBER 11

I love reading to Sophie! It is one of the joys of being a mother.  Sophie and I can sit and read for quite a while.  She loves pointing to the pictures as I read the book.  As a school teacher, I know how important it is to start reading to your child as soon as possible.  We look for books that are interesting and unique.  We have recently started reading these books about cute little Chihuahuas.

The Adventures of Bella & Harry books take the reader around the world as they follow Bella, her brother Harry and the family on fun and exciting trips.  These picture books are not only fun to read, but also educational.  Children learn about places around the world, cultures, history, and all about travel.  These books are written by Lisa Manzione and illustrated by Kristine Lucco.

Let's Visit Paris explores interesting sites like the Eiffel Tower, foods from the bistro, and even teaches your child a few french phrases!

Let's Visit Venice allows readers to travel down canals on gondolas while visiting this magnificent place.  Sophie loves the hat on Harry in this.  She points and laughs every time she sees it!

5% of each book purchased will be donated to the ASPCA.

My Review:
Sophie and I LOVE these picture books.  I read these to her.  She giggles when she sees the dogs.  We call these our special books.  Sophie likes to chew on her books, so books like these are put up during the day (for now).  She gets so excited when I pull one out.  She is too young to understand the story of traveling to Venice and Paris and all the great information in these books.  I, however, enjoy reading them and following Bella & Harry on the adventures.  The books are very well made and beautifully illustrated.  The covers are unique and eye-catching.  I love the idea of a series that follows Chihuahuas.  These books would make great Christmas and birthday gifts for children of any age.  I can't wait to read the newest Bella &  Harry book coming soon - Let's Visit London.

Awards:
Bella & Harry books were recognized as being among the best in family-friendly media products and services by Mom's Choice Awards.

These hardback books are available online at http://www.bellaandharry.com/shopping.html.  They retail for $16.95.
