Board Book Review and Giveaway

Sophie and I spend time each day looking at pictures of family and friends.  Living far from home, it is important to me that she recognize grandparents, aunts, and others when we go home in June.  I have some scrapbooks and photo books I have made but can't let her hold them since she is into tearing and putting things in her mouth. The Take Your Pix photo album is perfect for Sophie.  She can hold it and look at all the pictures without the worry of tearing them.  Board Book Albums, LLC sent me the pink Take Your Pix album to review.

About: Board Book Albums, LLC was created by Laura Miranti who is a CPA.  She created a board book photo album for her daughter after unsuccessfully finding one online.  She filled it with pictures of family, toys, and other items for her daughter.  The book helped her daughter progress in weak developmental areas.  

About: Take Your Pix albums are chunky board books (like the ones produced for babies/toddlers). This album has 10 sturdy pages that can be filled with 4x6 pictures on the front and back of each (20 pictures total).  Each page has a notch on the side for easy turning. The cover also has an insert for a picture.  These albums are free-standing and can be decorated with markers, stickers, and other embellishments. The Take your Pix albums come in pink, blue, white and black. You can purchase "My First Photos" albums in blue, pink, and yellow. These retail for $19.95.

I put family pictures in Sophie's board book.  I included baby pictures of Sophie, pictures of Mommy, Daddy, Grandparents, Aunts/Uncles, and Cousins.  Each night we talk about each picture and even talk about the colors we see.  It is the perfect fit for her little hands and the easy to turn pages are just what see needs.
